We do not track you, we do not advertise to you, and we never sell your details. This page explains the little we do collect, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Dascout is a property listing service in Mindanao, Philippines. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173). You can reach us any time at dascoutph@gmail.com or 0920 668 5742.
What we collect, and when

We do not collect your location, payment details, or any government ID. No payment ever passes through this website.
When you enquire about a property
Pressing Inquire About This Property opens your own email app with a message addressed to us — nothing is sent through this website. Your message arrives in our email inbox exactly as if you had written to us directly, and we keep it for as long as we are helping you. The same is true if you call the number on a listing.
Cookies and what your browser stores
Very little, and none of it for advertising. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no analytics companies on this site.

Who else handles your information
Three services run the site for us, and do nothing else with your information:
- Supabase — stores the accounts, listings and photographs.
- Vercel — serves the website.
- Resend — sends only the emails you have asked for.
Enquiries you email us arrive in our Gmail inbox, so Google handles those in the ordinary way email works. We share your information no further, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your account stays until you ask us to close it. View counts cannot identify anyone, so they stop being about you the moment they are recorded.
What you can ask us to do
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything wrong;
- delete it, or stop using it;
- send it to you in a portable form.
Email dascoutph@gmail.com and we will answer within fifteen days. You can also close your account yourself from your account page at any time. If you think we have handled your information badly, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection, passwords are scrambled before storage, and the database restricts each account to its own details, so one person cannot read another’s. If anything ever goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission.
Children
This site is meant for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and say so on the site if the change affects you materially.
